I'm a girl dad, husband to a high school sweetheart, athlete, car enthusiast, hobbyist DJ and a believer in building bonds through laughs & tough times.
I've been in marketing leadership roles for 10+ years, with a passionate focus on building teams & systems in the e-commerce space.
The thinking model I rely on to tackle problems, start a new venture, craft a marketing concept or drive team development (inspired by Agile Scrum & Lean Leadership principles). Simple, definitely not always easy.
Deeply understand, document & visualize what's happening now and why. Get as close as possible to customers and/or any work being done.
Establish and/or refine where we need to go and why, based on what's happening now. Set measureable targets against specific outcomes.
Establish clear awareness of obstacles that are a threat to stop us from achieving our target state. Plan experiments and resources against those obstacles.
Brainstorm, cross-collaborate and execute experiments to help us move towards our target state. Hypercommunication is key at this stage - and yes, even annoying at times. Form hypotheses against experiments to help improve future thinking.
Document actual outcomes against the hypotheses we formed in the previous step. Measure progress against our initial goals. Take learnings (pluses, deltas) and repeat Step 01 into the next growth initiative.
